CPSA examines the case to investigate the cause of the accident and whether the accident was caused by the failure of the product. To do so, CPSA checks the dents, the distortions, the scratches and other damages of the products to find out the cause the situation of the accident studying the report and other documents filed by the injurer. As a general rule, CPSA makes the decision in two months and informs the applicant of the result in a written form. When CPSA judges that the accident was caused by the failure of the product, it compensates the amount of the money which reasonably covers the human loss resulted in the accident. CPSA asks the applicant to submit documents to prove the loss, such as the receipts of medical treatments and medical certificate, calculates the amount of compensation and settles the case with the applicant.
